Sprocket size

5 posts in this topic

Was thinking of ordering a one tooth down sprocket for my XR600R. Noticed that most manufacturers do not list them for the more recent years. Anyone have any problems with the 13 size that I should be aware of?

I have a 13 on my 650 and it works alot better in the tight trails. try it you`ll like it!

I second the 13. It should wear the chain slightly more - but very slight - and for my woods riding, it really helps. When I toast my chain and sprockets, I will go up a couple teeth in back as well.

SOLD... To the rider with the 13 tooth sprocket. I ran 13/48 and 14/45 on my bike. Even on the DRz the 13 is great.
