suspension question for big'ens

Anyone in the 250 lb range made suspension mods on an 05 450 that they would like to share?

I'm 340! I put new springs front and rear new valves front and rear and new fluid and had it tuned for my type of riding and weight all done at Motopro. Total cost about $1,300. But I can go 2 gears faster through all the trails now! IMHO that is the best mod you can do to a bike!
