xr650 or xr600 stock fork springs

9 posts in this topic

Anyone have a set lying around? I would prefer the 650 springs but would consider the 600's too. I'm trying to stiffen up an old cr250 and turns out these thumpers take the same series of springs but in a stiffer spring rate

I've got a stock set for the 650R or a set of firm racetech springs. I'm selling my BRP and either springs are for sale, I don't need a set lying around. Also have the rear. By the way, leaving for holidays now, be back on the 9th, I'll try and check my e-mail while away if your interested. Brad.

I'm not sure on this but aren't xr650r forks & springs different from everything else, I think you need xr600r springs for xr650l springs, xr650l springs are stiffer than xr600r springs. David

AS far as the spring rate goes, yes...the xr650l springs are .44 and the xr600's are .41 Either ones will put me in a better range as the ones I have now are .36 and are soft.
