Need some torguee specs Applied Triples

Anyone have the torque foot pounds for the Applied Triples. Need the Bar Mounts specs thats it. 19mm Bolt that clamps down the mounts on the top triple yz426

i've read somewhere that over torque can cause the tube to bind as it goes up and down.

mountainman is right. 16-18 ft-lb is plenty for the clamps. You can bind the sliders if the clamp bolts are overtorqued.

In addition to the head, the cam caps are another good place to use a torque wrench.

But I must admit that's about all I use the torque wrench on!

Yeah, I'll buy that, not that I've ever torqued mine.

But the question was regarding the bolts that hold the bar clamps onto the top tripple trees (i think)

Thanks what I was looking for was the torque specs for the Bar Mounts. These are 19mm bolts that attache the Pro-Taper Bar mounts on to the top of the triple. Not the 10mm bolts that hold the tubes.
