Bark-Busters

I am personally one for the Acerbis "Pro Rally" aluminum injected guards. They worked everywhere. You can bounce off trees with them etc.etc. However, the fact that the attach to the outer and inner parts of the bar make it a trap for your hands upon a fall. Just ask my sprained left wrist...

Ouch! It never occured to me that they could work against you

With the Acerbis "Pro Rally" did you have to cut off the ends of your levers?

:awww:

I just mounted a set on my '86 XL600 and did NOT have to cut off the end of my levers. I did file a little flat spot on the ball of the clutch lever. It was a very close fit and I did have to get the placement just right.

Can you post a picture of the inner mounts for use with Pro-Taper bars? I like the regular all-plastic Rally's (not the Rally Pros), but haven't been able to find the right mounts. Anyone??
