Has anyone removed the airbox and installed a pod type filter? If so

I've seen pictures of one that was done to relocate the battery and related components inside the airbox. Everything was pretty crammed in there. It wasn't very clean or sano but it worked. This way you could put XR600R side panels on if you wanted to.

Aftermarket foam air filters inside the stock air box are the way to go for the BFP.

Hmmm... pod type filter??? Never heard of it but i have a UNI filter in mine and it works great.

Uni also makes pod type filters. They connect to the carb and vary in different lenghts.

I pretty sure he's talking about a sock type filter.Sure it will work, and it will have maximum flow but will soil quickly depending on condtions. And stay away from water!
