does the accelerator pump afect jetting??

i did the wheel collar mod to my yz400f a while ago. if the collar is to low and its squirting little gas, could it lean out the mixture.

Remember that the accelerator pump only works while the throttle is being opened, and is intended to add fuel to the mixture by force until the air flow through the carb catches up with the size of the opening. Once things start moving, it has no effect. Too big a shot, and it will blubber when the throttle is rolled open more gradually. Too little and it stumbles, or wheezes when you bust it open.
