New Head ?

Thanx to those who have responded to my posts in the past. This site is mucho help.

I posted a topic about a month ago It's Dead.

I've pulled the head off, thought the valve was bent, NOT! It did appear as such, but further investigation reveals that the valve was just stuck. Let me tell you, it was not easy to get the lifter out. I got the lifter out & the valve removed. What I found was that the lifter had a spot on it where the comp. lever hit & gave it a slight pucker. This in turn has worn a ridge down in the head. I tried to fit the other lifter down in,with no valve or spring. would'nt fit.

Has anyone ever heard such a thing?

Can this be fixed?
