whats the verdict the manual says lap them.. TT says dont...
Are your valves leaking or giving you some other reason to want to lap them? Personally I believe that you cannot go wrong following the factory manual.
no Im rebuilding my motor after a total failure.. and like a rookie didnt check valve clearance before teardown either (motor was locked up but could have prolly cut timing chain and checked them by hand)bike has alot of time on it but valves look to be in spec at first glance.. should i just clean the carbon and put back together?
