hooking up fuel lines on a ty-davis tank

1 post in this topic

I have a ty-davis style YZ tank on my WR and I have to hook up the three petcocks (1 is stock, 2 came on the tank). I used "t"'s to connect the lines togeather no problem, BUT how can I hook the line up to the carb without making a big loop up and around to the carb? The bottom edge of the tank is a hair above the bottom of the float boal and I'm afraid if I crash or get air in the line somehow after riding for a while, I won't be able to get the bike started again. The pressure from the fuel forces the air out of the line when the tank has fuel above the carb, but I'm afraid that the fuel in the bottom of my tank will be useless when I need it. Any ideas?
