1991 CDI in 2000 Kdx 200??? Will it work? Please help

Hi all, 

The cdi unit on my 2000 kdx 200 is gone. We have a spare one from a 1991 model and was wondering if we could put it in the 2000 model and work? If it does work, will the performance be affected? Any help will be appreciated.

You would have to go to the parts fich and check the specs. It might work but it might not fit/bolt up.
