Lowering link on 14 and up

It does, and firms up the shock damping. It also makes the sag numbers look more realistic, 102-105mm.

 

Ok so I did this on my 2016 450FX.

 

I wish I would have taken measurements of the bike, but I didn't. Seem to be about 1/2 lower.

I used a linkage from a 2007 YZ 450. The parts were the same for a 2006.

 

The picture isn't great at the top, but it was definitely longer by a few millimeters. I raised my forks a little also. Bike has a flatter look, not as stink buggy.

 

The top linkage is the 450FX.

Ok so I screwed up and ordered wrong bearings..... The current yzf ones are smaller diameter, is it 2008 wr450f bearings I need? Also does the yzf sleeve fit or do I need the wr one of those too?
