ATV riding with dual sport

I am new on the forum and in the process of trying to buy a dual sport.  My wife has no desire to ride a motorcycle but will ride an ATV.  I live in southeast TX and about the only places that I know about for ATV riding are some trails in the Sam Houston National Forest and a private ATV/dirt bike park.

Anyone else in a similar situation?  I don't mind driving a little ways for decent places to ride, but I need to be realistic when just planning a day trip.

Are you looking for a place to ride? Or which dual sport will lend itself to quad type riding?

I just need ideas about where to ride - her on ATV and me on dual sport.

I'm looking for the same thing. Dirt/gravel roads within a couple of hours from Houston.
