How do you remove wheel studs (bolts) from backing plate on a 2017 Raptor 700?

I've got a 2017 raptor 700 and while at the dunes the left rear bolts came loose on the wheel studs and screwed up the threads. I ordered new studs but the old studs do not want to come out of the backing plate. How do you get them out to put in the new ones? Do you need to press them out or use heat? I'd prefer not to use a press cause I don't have one

Usually they are pressed in. I just take a good solid sledge hammer and tap them out. The new ones will need the same treatment from the reverse direction.

What about renting a ball joint press from auto zone?

I figured it out. Took it to my buddies shop put some heat on them then carefully used his hand operated press....
