Was not disappointed .

 

Never had a front tire feel that planted before .  It was awesome in the wet and dry rocks , side hilling , sketchy rocky downhills and mud  .

 

Great purchase and thanks for the recommendation .

Gonna try the fatty on my DR650 and see how it goes. I ride 2-up a lot so it should be more stable. The TKC on there works ok, but for chit in mud. Then we'll move on to the WR.

So how is it holding up?  I ride in tne Tn mountains.  Our rocks are ledgy and sharp.  I should be good on that front but we chew up rear tires pretty quickly.

I only got a few rides in these tires before I swapped over to my supermoto setup for a little while. The front corners of those giant M5B knobbies are just slightly rounded, but when the knobbies are that big, I think it'll be okay. The tire just hooks in everything we have around here (mostly sand and some sandy clay mud). I wish we had rocks here - there are no rocks that I know of anywhere in Florida.

What are you guys doing for winter driving? I do alot of enduro in the winter and I'm wondering if someone has tried to put really fat tires on, without a widening kit.

I'm thinking of changing out my wintertyres for a couple of even wider tyres.

Anyone with a lot of knowledge in this area?
