Need your opinion

3 posts in this topic

I'm having problems with keeping my yz running in the tight stuff, it's geared so tall that I stall it way too much. Should I add two to the rear sprocket, and put a flywheel weight on. Or will adding a 12oz flywheel weight alone help with the stalling. Your opinion is much appreciated.

I use to have that problem too. I don't know about the flywheel weights because I didn't do that. I changes my front sprocket and dropped a tooth. A new front costs 15 bucks where a new rear cost 55 and the front is easier to change. It made a huge difference in my stalling on trail and hills, and I can still easily hang with my friends on 250 on the dirt roads.
