BMW F650GS (twin) v. F800GS ?

So what's the difference?

Are they dependable as used machines?

Can you do your own maintenance or are you pretty dealer dependent?

Lifespan of a well cared for motor?

I've ridden an F800GS, but as a rental. Sweet bike, but not enough experience to comment on long term reliability and maintenance. Good luck!
