Basic Stock Rear Light Question

4 posts in this topic

This is a bit of simple silly question but I just want to check something. I am returning to the stock style rear light on my 2007 WR450 and have bought an original rear fender and the two thin foam triangle bits of pad that go above and below the rear light.

Both foam triangles have one adhesive side and I just wanted to know how it is supposed to be. Are you supposed to stick the adhesive side to the rear fender and the bottom one to the plastic bowl that holds the light in?

Thanks for the reply. Am I correct in thinking that one goes on the top and one on the bottom of the light? I am surprised that they are stuck to the actual light as I would have thought that might cause an issue. Can I ask what year your bike is?
