2011 yz450f clutch basket/nut keeps coming loose...?

hey guys, recently rebuilt a 2011 yz450f that I bought locked up. finally got it out this weekened and took it for a spin. it runs great but the nut that holds the basket and hub on keeps working itself loose. this is the second time, it did it when I was giving the bike break in cycles around my house, went back and tightened back to 54 ft lbs, and than did it again this weekened after about 30 minutes of riding. anyone else ever have this problem? the manual doesn't call for loctite but does anyone else possibly put the blue loctite on this nut? it's number 13 on page 4-36 in the manual, labeled clutch boss nut. I would really like to take it to the track this weekened but id like to try working this kink out first. also, my springs are sacked over the recommended clearence but I have new springs coming in today, I don't think that would matter though....?

There is supposed to be a conical spring washer under the nut.   Is it there?

there is, do these ever seem to get worn out possibly?

They can flatten over time, but it's not very common.  I'd replace it in this case.

There should also be a heavy steel washer with a splined center behind the boss.

the spliced washer is there, I have double checked the clutch components in the bike to all of them in the parts diagrams and it's all there. this was what caused my clutch to "mysteriously disappear" on me. it does appear to be pretty flat so I'll order up a new one.

Some blue LocTite wouldn't hurt, either.
