Assembly lube

I wouldn't bother. Just make sure it is bathed in good oil upon assembly. Ive put Web cam lube on cam lobes and have done it with just good oil. Same results, no issues.

This. 

 

The only place there's any reason to use assembly lube is the cam lobes, and then, realistically, only if the cam and lifters are new.  If you use it, don't use more than necessary.
