2016 60th anniversary YZ450 Price

23 posts in this topic

Is $7800.00 a good buy on this 450? A shop near me has one marked down to this amount. Still guess I would have to pay sales tax on top of is. However the sticker says set up fee is included.

I was going to trade my 2011 YZ450 in on it also. Is $7800.00 a decent buy?

Sale your 11. The dealer will give you 1000 less than it is worth. Even a fire sale on CL will get you more than the dealer will give. Not sure about the price but they have some finance and cash back deals on them.

I would let the 11 go for 3k but if they say $2500 or less I will just keep it.

I will just buy them like I usually do and thats finance it for 36 months at 3.99%.

Hey, this is the place to ride. I am about five miles from th e trails. The trails offer any type of challenge you would want. Let me know when you want to come down and ride. May be able to help out with info if you need..

Sticker on bike said $7800 and included set up fee. I would say that didnt include sales tax so add that to the $7800 I guess.

$7800 is a great price if you can get that otd. Maybe they will work with you since the '17s are out now.

Yeah.....maybe if I take my 2011 over there an show em Iam interested they might work something out.

Then again they migjt be hard to deal with. They have a repitition on being hard to deal with.

The only number that matters is the otd number

Everything else is useless.

A good rule of thumb is the sale price x 1.11 for an otd number that elminates frieght, set up, undercoating (?)....etc

I talked to the owner of the Dealership at the race this past Sunday about the 60th anniversary YZ450 that they had marked down to $7800.00.

He told me to holler at him this week and that he could cut me a little better deal. Said the $7800 wasnt a OTD price said sales tax would be in there.

So with sales tax that would be $8119.80 + I guess that $10 title fee to put it at $8129.00.

I see on the Yamaha motor corp. Site that they have a $300.00 cash back going on for this bike now so if I add that to the price that would bring it down to $7829.00

Now......I dont know if they have all ready figured that in, which was the marked down original price they had on it at $7800

However he did tell me that all parts on this bike would be 20% off from them for as long as I had it.

Just wondering how much more he could offer me off from what he stated to me about cutting me a little more?

Right now there is no incentives going on for the 2017 models.

Just ask to the otd price.

I will ..... Guess I will go over there Thursday.

I went to this one Dealership just awhile ago an took my 2011 yz450 with me.

They have a left over 2013 yz450 with a price tag of $6999.00

Now.....they looked at my bike an tlod me they would give me $3000.00 for it and said if I wanted to take any of the aftermarket stuff off of it I could.

I would still have to pay 4.1% sales tax but thats all on the 2013.

When I bought my 2011 brand new I gave $6500 OTD for it back in 2011.

So that wpuld mean I would be getting $3000 back out of it and be like I only gave $3500 for it.

Thing is....with this 2013 yz450 .....yamaha will not be honoring the contingency money for races since it is older than 2yrs.

So would this be a good deal?

Should I just go ahead and get a 2016 60th anniversary model and pay around $8000.

The 13 really is not an upgrade from your 11. If you could find a leftover 14 I would consider that if the deal is sweet.

Yeah.....you are right about that. Bout the only thing good about the 13 is the price and it would be brand stinking new. And would only have to pay out $3700ish cash for a new bike.

Oh, I about forgot.... this 2013 has the black rims and maybe one other thing might be the front rotor.
