Krannie did you have any problems with the throttle cable lenghts when you installed the risers? I bought 25mm risers for my wr, but realized there is no slack in the cables that allows risers or taller bars. Might be different on the fx model as there is no tripmeter and wire harness?

Hey Krannie, you got the fan on that list? Mine comes on a few times a ride, I guess it's more of a precaution. Pretty cheap and light.

No fan. I have a 1.8bar radiator cap, and will be 'jetting' rich.

Look at the led 30w fancooled bulbs to, they are really, really bright.

Nuthin like a new bike.

 

That thing is beautiful.

 

Almost a shame to get it dirty.

When it's done it will look just like a WR, so the Rangers won't scrutinize too quickly.

 

I even have the dual registation 450X green sticker that will reside on this bike to further throgh off the masterscrutinizers.

Oh I've been paying attention to his bike - did not know about the BB, but not surprised for some reason. If this ends up being the year I get the 450FX, it'll probably stay bone stock for a good while (except for headlight and blinkers to appease the man because I need a plate...also except for springs and armor of course, gotta have that...and maybe some of those nice ASV levers like I see on TV sometimes and an exhaust, and I honestly do want a Rekluse for it......shit). Yeah, I'll get $10k into it real fast.

How's the South Dakota deal looking? Need to get moving on the FX before someone wises up and tries to shut that deal down.

Hey Krannie, where do you run your Scotts from stock?

 

 

6-8 out for massively soft high speed stuff

10-12 out for really tight single track

 

 

I rode a guys KTM 200 who kept it a 6 out all the time.

 

I fell over....

The seat is not tall enough...

Need 1.5" more (2.5" over stock total)

 

 

It's gonna be ugly.....

 

 

 

....but the peg location feels great!

 

I have never lowered pegs before without them going back.

It's nice for them to be actuall a few mm forward and 20mm down!
