YZ 450FX Weight Savings

Hey guys, I thought I'd throw together a topic that discusses potential opportunities to save some weight on the 450FX.  This has been discussed in some detail in other topics but would like to consolidate it here under one topic.  

 

Lets keep the "just take a dump before you ride," or "go buy a KTM," etc... stuff to a minimum.

 

I've created a Google sheet that pending how things go here I will continue to update it with your suggestions and make it public.

That 10 lbs is an educated guess.  I'm still waiting to hear back from them for an exact number.

Na, I bet it's pretty close.  That hardware includes axles, pivots, engine mounts etc...  Those are some substantial pieces of hardware!

 

Still tough to bite off the $4.3K.
