That's what I paid here in NorCal. For that price I'm sure they keep any incentive but you can sign up for blucru and they will send you a $300.00 visa gift card.

I bought mine in Utah for $8500 before tax, licensing, plating and uncorking, so it wasn't cheap, but one its the best smile making purchases I've ever made.. But they still had 15's and it was the only one I found in stock in the State, they pulled it out of the crate and built it for me.

I know 2 grand more for 1 year newer is a tough one to swallow but it's twice the bike compared to a 15 in my opinion.

Having the air intake up front is worth it alone. I can't believe how much cleaner my filters are. Plus the central mass is pretty awesome. Just do it, you'll be glad In a year you did. Plus for my selfish benefit, you'll start a WR thread like your Beta thread.

In the meantime, keep posting teaser "shall I/shall I not threads," so as to make the inevitable "I finally got it, it's so awesome, why did I wait so long" thread all the more triumphant.

Well-intentioned sarcasm here...

Like Nike shoes: Just Do It.

And then review it for us so I can do more vicarious living!

Yeah, I wasn't trying to negotiate on a '15, they threw this out.

I'm sure you could get one for $6500 otd if you tried, with partial Yamabucks...

Maybe to 0.001% of riders.

For the vast majority, it would be virtually no different.

I ended up getting a run out '15 model here in Aus, could not be happier.

Here ya go Krannie.

If you have not sprung for one yet perhaps this will help grease the slide.

This guy does the bike proud. Wish I could ride as well as he does.

The only thing stopping me is my health.

I can't seem to recover from rides anymore, and I am going to the doctor next week.

Every day I feel massively hung-over....not good....
