Front Tires

Hoping that this one does not travel down the same road as an Oil Threat... but here goes.

 

Wondering if there is a particular front tire that works well on the WR.

 

I ride quite a bit of hard pack, street some, and single track in the Sierra's.

 

Currently have a Michelin Desert 90/90 up front. Gonna have to replace it soon.

 

Wondering is there is any agreement on a particular tire.

hey Falcon, I just did a little research on this very queation as I'm upgrading my new stock tires and tubes to tubliss (my stock tires have me dangerously bouncing all over my rocky trails and I'm currently so aired down I fear pinch flats.) Anyway, take a look at the GOLDENTYRE GT 216AAHB 90/100-21 "fatty". Mine is in the mail, so I have no personal experience with it yet but I was very impressed a lot of people like it for enduro/trail riding. Which is just what I need. Definitely worth a look, see if it's a good fit for ya!

I run the Maxxis Desert IT with Kenda HD tubes and ride lots of really rocky desert. I get good traction and they  hold up for quite a while.
