2012 Wr450f which soft / comfortable seat to buy?

26 posts in this topic

Hey guys looking for some input from others that have bought the saddleman seat kit, guts racing , and seat concepts kit.

I used to race, but those days are over. I ride the bike five miles to work and have around 30-40 acres of river valley woods the family owns to ride trails/track. Basically I want it to be super comfy yet moto rideable so to speak.

Thanks!

Put on a seat concepts tall foam kit and gripper cover last year. L O V E. I T!!!!

Used my seat pan and air stapler. Took about 20 minutes to install.

Much more comfort for the bum on the long ride days!!!

www.Fishersaddlebags.com

When their price is $100 more than Seat Concepts , a known brand, I'll go with Seat Concepts.

Why have you bought 3 of them??    I'm looking due to the Home Depot lumber that must be currently under my seat skin.

After about 50 hours these seats soften up to tolerable.   After 100 hours you don't even notice it anymore.  I'm still riding my stock seat and it is OK now.  I hated it when it was new.

I know them and prefer to support small local shops. Very high quality and good people win.

It's too late I already ordered mine, but how do you get the blue stitching? Have to call and make a custom order? If you have a picture you should post it. I think that would look really, really nice!
