Front engine mount bolt

3 posts in this topic

Hey guys so Im in the process of putting my newly rebuilt top end back together and noticed I am missing the bolt that goes through the front engine mount.

Attached is the picture of the bolt and the mount it uses.

I was hoping someone could tell me the size/thread pitch/hardness of the bolt so I can buy one from a hardware store

Thanks in advance!

Go online or a shop and buy one from an OEM supplier.  Putting Hardware bolts on a motorcycle is sacrilegious.  If you are going to use hardware bolts, just buy anything that will fit.  Why worry about the size and pitch, because you are not worrying about strength and quality.

My connecting rod bent mine in a U, that bolt is cheap enough from Yamaha. What's your time worth driving all over to find one
