Hey,

HP results vary a great deal based on atmospheric conditions (barometric pressure, humidity, ambient temperature), the bike's state of tune and the type of Dyno being used. There are also several different HP 'scales' that are used, Std or SAE for example. Are the HP figures 'crank' or 'rear wheel ', etc, etc, etc. Another thing to consider is that all 'power figures' are 'maximum' figures and give no indication of the shape of the power and torque curves. A 'low hp' bike may have a super fat mid-range and simply blow all of the 'high 'hp' bikes out of the water.

I can not find any power info on the new '16 WR450F, but Dirt Rider ran up the 450s last year with the YZ450F featuring. The '16 WR is essentially the same motor and should produce similar results once it is opened up with mods.

Gaz.
