Baja Rides - gearing?

I am going to go on my first Baja Ride for 3 days in Mexico with a group. I usually ride tracks and as such my bike '01 426 is set up for that type of riding. I have ordered my desert tank but was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about gearing. I will be in 5th quite a bit I imagine. Most of the group has new XR 650's

I just got back from a 3 day Baja ride on a 00 and ran 15/46. The 650s will still kill you on top end but you will crush them in the sand and whoops. Have fun!
