2013 yamaha wr450f

I recently purchased a 2013 wr450 and purchased the full GYTR exhaust system. I've noticed everyone seems to be running the stock header with an aftermarket exhaust end? Can anyone please explain why the stock header? Thank you.

For one thing, full systems for the bike are pricey because of the complexity of the header, and for another, there really is no problem with the stock header.   The muffler is where the improvement can be made.

Thanks Greyracer! I'm really excited to ride my new bike and decided to purchase the GYTR full system. Then noticed every bike I seen didn't have the aftermarket header. Any suggestions on the settings for the GYTR tuner? I'm a Vet novice rider and it Looks like I'm going to be riding single track at around 4,000ft altitude. Any help is greatly appreciated.
