Newer YZ450F in Wet Conditions – Worries

7 posts in this topic

I have a 2014 YZ450F and I haven’t yet had to ride/race in wet conditions. I do worry about getting dirty water sucked in through the air box because of the front design.

Have you rode in the wet/rainy conditions with a newer YZ450F and have you had any issues?

Maybe and I hope I am just being paranoid!

Thanks for the feedback. It’s bound to rain here in California one day and it will be a race day when it does.

It only rains on weekends or when you have to work outside.
