Seen a yellow 2016 yz450f today at the shop!

And to my surprise its not as ugly in person as it was in the pictures!

Still a big fat looking bike though.

You know how some bike feel lighter than they weigh when you ride them?

Well these new 14-16 yzf's looks like they are  50lbs heaver than they weigh.

Well golly, if it looks heavy, don't buy it!

The "Yellow" bike is the 60th anniversary edition, they still sell the "Blue" the did the yellow in 2006 for the 50th as well. They have made a few new changes though.

I am a Yamaha guy, I just dont get why they work so hard at making it look so big and bulky!

I dunno, I don't think it looks particularly bulky.

Luv me some 60th edition YZ.  Best looking bike around.

They don't really look to bulky

You saw one at a dealer?  I have called the dealers around me and nobody has them yet.  Are some dealers getting them now and others not??

I am a bigger guy, 5'11, 225 lbs, muscular build and I tend to like a bigger feeling bike. When I went to buy my 15' YZ450 I sat on the other major brands and they just felt really small to me. Almost like shaking hands with a cat haha. My 450 feels just as light as my 250 two stroke out on the track, but the cock-pit/suspension feels like it is geared more towards larger riders which I liked. Doesn't feel any heavier than my 250 when I pick it up either. Personally, I think the Yamaha's look really skinny and sleek compared to some of the other brands on the market. Just my $.02.

Canada

Funny thing is it's still sitting there!

You would think someone would want to be the first in our area to have one?
