Pistons?

I believe I have a 1985 atc200m engine. I know certain it's a 200m. Not exact on the year though. But what I want to do is put a high compression piston in it. Will other 200 piston kits work or is valve clearance an issue etc??? Please fill me in on what can go in it and also camshafts. If there are any performance options available.

Get a wiseco 10.25:1 piston and run 91 octane w/o ethanol

Most any XR/ATC200 piston except sx will work. The wiseco 4156 series would be a good choice. 10.25 is good start. Many many camshafts are available. Even a 200x or xr200 cam is a bump in performance.
