YZ426 lighting

3 posts in this topic

Im posting this here to see if i get more answers but im streeting my bike and im putting a 35watt lighting stator in it with a 35 Watt headlight but also taillights and turn signals so i was wondering if i would run the system through a regulator-rectifier and just charge a battery and then power the headlight and system with the battery but im not sure if the battery will get overcharged or if i need more components in the system to charge the battery besides running the stator throught he regulator and into the battery. thanks here are the links to the parts if that helps

If you are using an aftermarket 35w stator that fits under the original YZ flywheel....  good luck.

All of them I've ever seen were notoriously unreliable.
