08 YZ450F starting issues.

I've got a 2008 YZ450F that i can't get started when its not warmed up. I have had to have friends pull me to get it started. Once its warmed up it will start first kick every time. I have adjusted the valves so they are in spec. Anyone have any suggestions of what to try next?

You are using the choke to cold start it, I imagine, right?

How does the bike run once you get it running?  In particular, does it respond well to the throttle at or near idle speeds, or does it stumble a lot.

Have you tried giving the throttle 3-4 good twists before staring cold to prime the engine?
