Stock 2010 pipe on 2013?

6 posts in this topic

Is there any performance gains to be had from putting the shorter 2010 pipe on the 2013 yz450f? I can pick up a stock pipe for $40 and seem to remember something about the earlier pipes being shorter with a bigger opening.

I'm almost positive it won't work unless the 09 had the intake and exaust reverses from the norm like Theye do know I had a 13 and the intake was in the front of the motor.

That I couldn't tell you I would throw my 2 cents out there and say know. I had a 13 with complete fmf 4.1 system that opened it up. I own a 14 I bought new and before I brought it home I put an fmf complete system that is supposed to be one of the best for yamaha 's. I think you should go complete fmf and you will be happy as heck.

10 and 13 are the same setup but different mufflers. Full fmf is a lot more than $40 haha
