Bike won't start!

2 posts in this topic

I was riding the other day and my bike just bogged out and died. I had no idea why but I found that the oil drain plug to the "tank section" had come out. Can I just put new oil in and replace the plug or is there more damage done? The bike kicks over fine and sounds normal, just won't start.

Well, the plug came out because it wasn't tight, for one thing.  You can try adding oil, but if you ran it out, you've probably damaged the cams and head, and/or the cylinder walls.  Maybe the crank as well.
