Installing a '07 WR450 carb on a 426, what to do?

I just found it after searching the other posts. Thanks.

For some reason I thought it was the spring on the bottom. I am hoping it won't be that difficult to swap out.

110 paj

Use nothing.

Just cut the pin on the ACV plastic floating valve .

I had a metal pin for the Acv valve, cut and grinded down down the valve pin. I am lazy and reinstalled everything.

Used a 100 air jet and hoping for the best.

Ok, looking to set up idle properly, any advice?

Need to adjust the fuel screw to adjust the idle to air/fuel mixture, any links?

Set fuel screw to 1.25 turns out

Get  motor hot

Lower idle with idle screw as low as it will go and still run

Raise the idle USING THE FUEL SCREW

You should be around 1.5-1.75 turns out before it stops making a difference

If it goes t0o high, lower the idle with the idle screw, and try to raise it again with the fuel screw.

When doing this , the changes in idle can be subtle

Awe thanks, I appreciate it.

Tried to start my bike to warm it up, took 15 tries and finally got it started. The previous carb was one kick. Is this related to the air/fuel mixture?
