Any clue what jgr has here?

The switch allows them to switch on the fly between 2 different maps. I'm not 100% sure but I think the button is for launch control like Kawasaki.

So basically it is what the '15 crf's have?

The black knob in the center?  Says "GET" on it.  They make ignition map controls, not stabilizers.

It also appears that they make triple clamps. Odd thing is I can't find the company or any products online

The "GET" device isn't a steering stabilizer. It is a traction control device. Recent article in one of the mags just can't remember which one. Article was talking about how the teams get away using it since it is a traction control device.

Closer look would suggest you are correct gray

That to me looks like a cover for a plug to hook up to a laptop or some sort of device.

Does anyone know where i can buy a switch to change between maps on the fly for a 2015 yzf450. Was doing some testing today with the gytr power tuner and there were some maps that would be great for starts but not ideal to race a whole moto with as the bike was quite reactive and fatigued me quickly.

They have it for the 14' but it's likely a whole new ignition.  http://www.athenaparts.com/eng/products/view/20806/electronic-unit-get

Vortex sells a 2-position bar switch. Very nice product.

Sure, but it only works with the Vortex ecu. The oem ecu does not have the ability to change maps the fly.

exactly...... would be a nice feature for yamaha to release next year. I can put up with it because the cost of a new ecu is just to much vs the gain. plus the tuning wouldnt be as easy to get right i recon with a Vortex or a GET.

Well you never know. I use a Vortex on my built YZ'd WR 450. It seems to work well on the most radical map. I don't bother to switch it. I like the built in mapping.
