04 YZ450 rear suspension setup help?

Recommended Posts

My 04 yz450 rides really nice but if I stand beside my bike and push down on the rear on the seat with my hand it's very springy like as if there's no dampener at all! I've tried adjusting the dampening screw but nothing, don't really change! What I'm needing to know is how much air psi is needed in the little air canister and if it's low could that be why it don't change when I turn the screws? Any help would be great thanks!

Nitrogen goes in the "little canister", not air, and it should be 145-160 psi.  But that's not your problem.  More likely low on oil.
