How to verify '06 CDI box?

I am looking at picking up a '06 cdi box for my '08 450. Any way to verify if the one I buy really came out of a '06?

Anyone with a 06 450 willing to share the numbers stamped on your box?

I have on on my 09 that I bought from ebay. I'd look for you, but its at a different location now.

You could look up the part number on RMATVMC or Motosport OEM parts for an 06.

I looked up the OEM part number, but I do not believe the CDI itself is marked with that number.

The box should be marked "2S2-00", an abbreviation of the part number.

It just so happens I'm trying to figure the same thing with my KLR, check out this post. There a few variables you should check before getting into your CDI box, but just in case that is the problem, I included a link in that post that shows you how to fix the relays in the CDI.
