Cam chain tensioner screw SNAPPED! HELP!

2 posts in this topic

Hey guys, I was loosening a bolt on my bike that holds the cam chain tensioner in, an it got stiff all of a sudden.

I stopped and gave it another few turns slowly, it then turned twice easy and just snapped!

It's sticking out about half and inch and there still about half and inch in there any idea how to get it out?

Thanks in advance.

A little heat and a good pair of vice grips. Should come out easy aluminum expands faster than steel.
