Stripped Oil Cleaner Bolt

Has anyone had an Oil Cleaner bolt stripped, the bottom one, on a 2007 YZ450F ?  If so, what was the resolution ?  Is it OK to just insert a new bolt or is there some other work that needs to be done ?  Appreciate your feed back.

Is it the bolt or the case? If it's the case I would heli-coil it. I would be surprised if it was the bolt.

The bolt had shavings in the threads.  The bolt also feels thinner around the thread end.

How can you tell whether its the case or the bolt ?

If the bolt had shaving in the thread, then it's the case. I just fixed the exact same thing yesterday using a Helicoil. Works great.
