Mad Engine Breaking 08 yz450

2 posts in this topic

  1. Pull the clutch in when you enter a corner
  2. Upshift
  3. Raise the idle speed
  4. Get used to it and let off the gas later
  5. Buy a back-torque cancelling clutch ($$$)

Personally, I recommend #4.  You are the most adaptable element of the bike/rider combo.  Engine braking is a good thing.
