Fresh plastics - 2013 front fender and number plate on a 2003 yz450?

3 posts in this topic

Hi gang,

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on all fresh plastics and was wondering if anyone out there has put a newer model front fender and number plate on an older bike?

I love the look of the 2013 fenders and number plates. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Do it. I have a buddy that did the same on his 02 yz250 and it looks great. And I have to agree with you the plastics are really good looking. Even on my 2010 yz

Cycra makes a fender & number plate that fits 06-14 yz125, 250 & 450. It bolts right on & looks like the new style front end. I was just ordering this from them until I saw the shipping was $17 just for the $25 front fender!!!

So, I'm going to order an Acerbis fender for a 2013 yz450, but wasn't sure if it would bolt right on like the cycra does. Does anybody know if the Acerbis 2013 front fender will bolt right on & fit like oem on an 09?
