You guys don't realize it but you got me a nice Christmas present. I've been searching the archives and new posts and found out about the 98 accelerator pump. After checking mine, I found it was completely clogged with guck and not working at all. Cleaned it all up and reinstalled the carb. BANG my Christmas present was throttle response. Man what a difference. Also noted jetting. 178 main and 45 pilot. Apparently someone has been in there already. I don't think this is stock jetting? Thanks to everyone that posts up here.

THE STOCK MAIN JET IS 175, AND THE STK PILOT IS 65.

You sure, that you don't mean the start jet is a 65? 45 PJ should be close to stock. I have a WR so I don't really know for sure.
