YZ400f Oil Seal Locations

1 post in this topic

Hi,

I have my '98 400f torn down to replace a bad rod/crank bearing and while that piece is being rebuilt I thought I might as well replace all the oil seals while the bike is apart.

The pack of seals that I bought has 9 pieces and so far I can think of 7 locations:

1. Behind front sprocket

2. clutch push rod

3. decompression release

4. water pump- 2x

5. shift shaft

6. right crankcase cover

7. kick axle

That accounts for 8 seals, which one am I missing?

Thanks,

Justin
