Tough to start

3 posts in this topic

Just did a top end and valve job on my 2003 WR450. Using the kick start it fires right up but it will not start using the magic button. It turns over just fine but will not start. Also I am having a few run issues that may be related. What the hell could I have done that makes it not want to start with the E-Start???

Valve clearances

Weak battery

Poor ground or battery terminals

Kicking turns the motor over faster by about 50 rpm...

What is your starting procedure?

Fuel screw set properly?
