YZ450F 06 sluggish, help

3 posts in this topic

Hi!

I had a Devil exhaust , but I broke it and bought a new, original exhaust system from a -09 in mint condition for a very good price. And after that my bike feels sluggish from the bottom.

Could this be due to a jetting issue (from what I understand, you change the jetting when installing performance boosting exhaust systems)?

Or could it be as simple as the other exhaust gave me that much more bottom power? Or maybe a clugged main jet or something?

The '08-'09 pipe is notorious for sucking the life out of the low end on the YZ450. The blame lies mostly there.
