"Da List": DR-Z400 Popular Parts List

94 posts in this topic

Hey for those of you who like the notorious IMS 2.6 gallon tank in "White" I had IMS make a few of them, I received mine last week! Definitely recommend for supermoto and people competing off-road! 274 shipped. You'll have to call customer service to order a white tank and they have at least 5 ready!

The picture included is not my bike but the same tank! This is Eddie's DRZ 475 TT!

How about a link to the side triple clamp mounts for the Cycra Probends and Zeta Armor handguards. And maybe some Zeta Pivot levers

What about some of the things needed or the FAQ fixes like loctite and the clutch cover gasket for right case (part no. 11482-29F00)

How about the Zeta engine plug kit and brake reservoir cap?

The list is awesome now btw,  good work.

A good idea would be a package deal for the MRD/SSW, HOT CAMS,  FCR MX-39 AND A BBK.

Could call it the "50hp package".?....I know Eddie used to advert this way...I don't think he could put a copyright on the term..

Added the Hammerhead Designs plugs too, as they come in Gold & Black and the Zeta come in Blue & Red. Taste the rainbow! :smirk:

Very nice,  might want to consider adding the enduro pocket as well,  fits the drz like a glove.

Mind if I use this pic as a product profile in our store?

Sure,  i can take another one if you'd like,  as what VVVV he said.     Or if you want to blur that one mirror out,  if not,  im fine with you using it the way it is.

If you do use it, please blur out the mirrors!

Very new to the dirt bike forums but not so new to bikes. Picked up my 1977 Suzuki PE250B back in 2012 for 500$. Running and riding just fine with little maintenance done since then. Parked the bike in late 2015 due to it shutting off on me while riding (which I believe to be a spark or carb issue) and just now getting around to finding the time to fix since being out of school.. Parts and a source of info have been my biggest obstacles. Anyways here's the bike.

I have  a 1999 Suzuki RM125.  On the left side of the cylinder there is a knob.  The knob is to adjust the spring tension of the exhaust valve/power valve.  I know how to tighten/loosen the spring tension, but I don't know what the tension should be or how many turns it should be at, or where in the rev band it should open up.  There is a little indicator with an arrow pointing clockwise, but again, I don't know how many turns to start at and where it should point, etc.  Can you guys help me out?  Thanks!

so i can trade my 04 yz250f for a 2002 rm125 i ride mostly all trails. i am tired of my 4 stroke because it's nickle and diming me. i have a few questions about the RM.
How is the reliability on 02 rm125/ Your opinions of bike
Will the rm125 be easier to maintain than my yz250f?
What problems will pop up on this bike or common problems, what should i ask the seller about the bike?

Hey all first post here having some issues and could use some more experience.
background: 05 Suzuki RM125. Acquired in a trade. Was ripping great for a day or two on the trails up north and then all of a sudden just bogged down and died. (Only issue during this time was a little bogging when you went wide open throttle--dirty jet for sure, but still ripped).
Breakdown: Piston had gauges in it from a screw being too long it seems and some shavings touching piston.  The carb is from another year and has been rejetted from stock 460 to 370. (Found this out when the carb rebuild kit wouldn't direct replace).
Today: Top end rebuild was done with new gaskets, piston, and proper screws.  The carb has been rebuilt besides the 370 jet, that was cleaned and put back in since I didn't have another one.
Bike wont start. Doesn't even sound like it wants to. "Wet" is the term I use to describe it when kicking, but the plug isn't wet or flooded.  Has good spark/compression.  Where do I go from here to troubleshoot this thing????
      thanks for reading all this!

Hello i am selling my 04 yz250f because all i do is ride trails, hit hill climbs maybe sometimes single track. the bike is nickle and diming me because of it's age and plus i am 5'7 140 and can't ride it hard enough because i'm kinda small for bike. i don't know a bike to buy after i sell it. i need something with great reliability, and somewhat easy maintenance btw i can't deal with another valve issue!! 😩 i want something that is a good trail bike but has good torque and power. i'm not looking for the 250 power. i was considering the crf230f but is it to small for me? And how are the reliability on 125 2 strokes? i'm 5'7 140. Suggestions welcome please!!  forgot to mention i have good experience on dirt bikes i have been riding for about 3 years from a ssr 125 to a cr80r now to a 250.
